The Relative Size of Things

Picture 5 Back in the 70s or 80s, IBM made a video called The Power of 10, which showed the relative size of things from the universe to the cell and the effect of adding a zero. In other words going from 1 meter to 10 meters to 100 meters and so on. See the video below.

Now in the age of nanotechnology, and manipulating materials on the molecular scale, it's nice to see an interactive that shows the relative size of the small things. We're talking everything from coffee beans to carbon atoms. With viruses, bacteria, red blood cells and a host of other structures in between.
