GumDrop’s Drop Tech Series for iPad is a less expensive, but durable option. The Drop Tech has double thick rubber exterior with bumpers on the corners and port protection. According to the GumDrop website, the multiple layers allow for shock absorption if the device is dropped. The screen is also protected with a snap-on protector that can be replaced if damaged. The cover comes in four different color combinations and in a military edition. That version has a built in polycarbonate screen cover and more protection for the rear and front view cameras. The Drop Tech Series is also made for the Samsung Galaxy, Asus EEE and iPhone.
