Fingers Mk II: $930

For the impatient lot of power-hungry gizmo lovers out there, I give you the Fingers Mk II. This robotic hand is made of resin fingers attached to steel plates that are moved by a motor in a rhythmic pattern, the same pattern one hears when waiting in line or babbling nervously in front of the boss.

Kinetic artist Nik Ramage, who describes himself as “a mechanical sculptor who makes useless machines,” cast his own hand to use as the fingers for the device. He's also designed a candle blower and shoes that pedal wheels by themselves. The Fingers Mk II runs on two AA batteries and will be available in February for those of you who don’t have the time to notice or care that it costs $930.
