Quadripeligic-hunter-278x225 For more than two years, 46-year-old Jamie Cap, a resident of New Jersey and quadriplegic since 1979, fought a legal battle to fire his shotgun. He finally won. Now he can legally aim and fire his 12-gauge gun.

Cap operates the gun using a breathing tube, which is hooked up to a battery-powered machine. A friend gets Cap set up at the gun. Cap aims at targets using a toggle that he controls with his tongue. To fire, he sips on the tube.

The device is made by Indiana-based Be Adaptive Equipment, which has been making wheelchair mounts for shotguns since 2002.
