Of all the adjectives one would use to describe an elevator, lickable’s pretty far down on the list.
Yet over in London, Jaffa Cakes spent four weeks outfitting the world’s first Lickable Lift with 1,325 cakes. “This was the perfect way to get a little joy straight to stressed-out office workers,” Jaffa Cakes chief Philippa Tilley told The Sun.
This might be unsettling for germaphobes, but Jaffa Cakes reassures that cakes are replaced once licked. “We don’t want a Jaffa Cake induced epidemic on our hands!” says the company’s Facebook page.
