Capture both sides of the story with the iPhone 4 on the Love Box, an analog video mixer in a wooden box.
Ever wanted to record a video interview or conversation, but were frustrated by the fact that it takes two cameras, plus some post-production editing, in order to really capture the ‘he said, she said’? With the help of an oak box and a mirror, your iPhone can now become a split-screen video camera, and record video both in front of and behind the phone.
The Love Box is simple, technologically speaking – it’s a box with a strategically placed mirror, plus a slot for the iPhone 4 – but what it does is pretty much genius.
The idea for this was born from work on an experimental documentary, “The Love Box Conversations”, by Honest&Smile and Ignasi Giró, which consists of eight conversations about love, filmed in Paris with a prototype Love Box.
The Love Box is available as a limited edition of 100 units, through Etsy, for about $80.
