Next time someone has a “Jersey Shore” marathon on, and you don’t feel like wasting brain cells on the show, whip out this handy TV jammer.

The Ninja Remote lets you control the TV stealthily without your friends noticing. ThinkGeek says the gadget is “perfect for interrupting stupid sporting events, obnoxious video games, moronic sitcoms, idiotic talking heads, and poorly scripted movies!”

Possible applicable situations include changing the channel at the doctor’s office, turning off boring videos in class and of course, playing pranks on friends.

The remote works up to 400 feet away and jams other devices so you’re in control. The bomb function changes the TV’s channels and volume at random for five to 15 minutes. Though note: “ThinkGeek is not responsible for loss of spouse, significant other, friends, or employment. We just provide the tools…”

The $29.99 device is compatible with both older and new TV sets.
