Tupac lives! The deceased rapper, whom conspiracy theorists place somewhere in hiding in Mexico, took the stage at Coachella this weekend, in hologram form. Projected onto the stage and the jumbo screens at the music festival, “Tupac” was joined by Snoop Dogg, making for a surreal experience for everyone watching, and maybe Snoop himself, most of all.
Tupac also made quite an exit, exploding into bits of light and fading away. Sorry, Princess Leia, you’re no longer the benchmark for holograms in the pop culture world.
