If you want to bring out the high-strung celebrity in you and demand only certain colored Skittles, here’s just the kitchen gadget to do so.
The Skitter Sorter Machine was hacked together using parts from a hummingbird feeder, epoxy (for the body, turnstile and chute), IR LED and phototransistor. After you dump the a bag of Skittles into the feeder and turn it on, the machine detects the color one by one, depositing the candies into bowls sorted by color.
