The Google Nexus S just saw its first major price cut.

Having debuted at $199.99, Sprint lowered the price of the Samsung phone to $99.99 with a two-year contract (T-Mobile also carries the Nexus S). This is a phone tech blogs are kind of enamored with, particularly because of its speeds, and did we mention it’s a Google phone? Gizmodo went so far to headline its three-sentence post: Sprint’s Best Phone is Now Only $100.

TechCrunch does point out people are speculating the next Google Phone (possibly named Nexus Prime) is on its way. It’s the age old question: Do I wait for the next model?
