LEGO and Star Wars make a great combination. So it’s logical it would only be a matter of time before LEGO created an official R2-D2 set.
When completed, this will be a pretty impressive addition to any LEGO collection. The R2-D2 model includes a phenomenal level of detail: retractable third leg, 360-degree rotating head, and fold-out front panels that open to reveal the droid’s universal computer interface arm and circular saw, according to Brothers Brick. The finished R2-D2 LEGO replica measures more than a feet tall and seven inches wide.
