The MacBook Air just got a little slicker.
With the white MacBook all but discontinued, the MacBook Air is now the Apple’s entry-level computer. The line was refreshed today, with faster processors, Thunderbolt ports for super-fast transfers and backlit keyboards, a feature that has been missing since October.
The 11-inch model starts at $999 and the 13-inch one at $1,299. They’ll go on sale Thursday, as in tomorrow.
The MacBook Air is now the company’s most popular consumer computer, said Apple’s marketing head, Phil Schiller, the Wall Street Journal reported.
