The HP TouchPad, a 9.7-inch tablet that came on the market July 1, is already getting a facelift.
Not very many changes: a faster 1.5-gigahertz processor (up from 1.2 gigahertz) and, oh, 4G connectivity on AT&T’s HSPA network. Quite a step up, given the first-gen model that debuted less than two weeks ago was WiFi only (not even 3G!).
No details on pricing yet, but the current line sells for $499.99 for the 16-gigabyte version and $599.99 for the 32-gigabyte tablet.
