How will you be watching the big games on Thanksgiving?

If it’s on a screen measuring less than five feet, you’ll be missing out. Instead, feast your eyes on Sharp’s lineup of Elite LED LCD TVs. The company claims its sets provide a superior picture quality, delivering more depth of color, brightness and smooth imaging.

Key to these claims is Sharp’s use of proprietary RGB+Y technology, which adds a yellow sub-pixel to the standard RBG palette. The presence of yellow gives the sets a broader range of colors while also using less power for higher brightness. With RGB+Y, the television sets display a smoother image since the four sub-pixels make up more than 8 million dots per screen. Furthermore, another feature, Intelligent Variable Contrast, automatically controls brightness and backlight for depth of color and brilliance. In addition to 3-D functionality, the Elite TVs can connect to video services, such as Netflix and YouTube. The 60-inch model retails for $5,999.99 and the 70-inch for $8,499.99.

If you’re not watching the game on these sets, maybe you can spend Black Friday scouting for them.
