Dubbed a smart bed, the automated bed by Spanish furniture maker OHEA can make itself in 50 seconds, using a mechanical arm with two rollers, cords and rotating panels, according to PSFK.
The video above shows a demo of the smart bed. The mechanical arm straightens up the covers, while wires suspend the pillows until the sheet is pulled all the way to the head of the bed.
Consumers can switch between automatic and manual modes. In automatic mode, a safety feature detects if someone is on the bed. If not, the self-making process activates in three seconds.
