Pronounced as if it had vowels (i.e. "gadget"), gdgt was co-founded by Ryan Block (former editor/editor emeritus of Engadget) and Peter Rojas (who also created Engadget, Gizmodo, Joystiq and a few other sites). It's a great community to ask and answer questions about consumer electronics. You indicate what gadgets you have, want and had. Follow other folks who've done the same. And build up your reputation points by using the site, writing reviews, adding friends and getting good feedback about the questions you answer.
