China Bans Stock Search: China has banned all Web searches for "Shanghai Composite Index" because the index fell an amount that happened to coincide with the date of the Tiananmen Square incident on June 4, 1989. The index fell 64.89. "That's crazy!" you may say. China forbids references to the Tiananmen Square incident, during which its army shot hundreds of unarmed civilians peacefully asking for democratic reform.
