Since Mars rover Curiosity landed on the Red Planet it’s been Mars, Mars, MARS! But remember all the fuss over that Higgs boson thingy? All that excitement in the beginning of July now seems like a distant memory.
But thanks to 22-year old singer/arranger and theoretical physics masters student Tim Blair of “A Capella Science,” the Higgs has been brought back into the limelight with a wonderful remake of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.”
He has of course named this rendition “Rolling in the Higgs.” Listen to the lyrics, they’re wonderfully geeky and superbly accurate. This is the way to learn quantum mechanics!
Keep tabs on his YouTube channel, I get the feeling that he’s only just begun.
While you’re at it, check out Cabin Nine Music, Tim’s Montreal-based group, they’re great.
