Nov. 14, 2011 -- We've featured many amazing videos taken from the International Space Station (ISS) on Discovery News, and here German videographer Michael König has assembled several time-lapse videos taken by the ISS crew into one long continuous production.

He's also taken the time to clean up the footage, and added a music track by Jan Jelinek as well.
"All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible, avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature," Michael told Discovery News. "When glancing at the ISS footage for the first time I was astonished at the idealized appearance of the material, and that there wasn't any CGI involved at all."

Michael briefly described his creative process as well.
"The editing of the material took me about four days all in all. This is mainly because of the huge amount of data and the processing of the high resolution photographs. I re-timed/slowed down this material digitally, which means that missing picture information was computed digitally for smoother results.

"In addition I did what (one) would do when restoring/refurbishing old movie material: reducing noise, flickering, camera-shakes, etc."
