Teens Today vs 1982: Smoke Less, More Safe Sex

This is a great look at teens in 1982 versus 2012. What struck me most about it was the areas that shifted and those that didn't. More kids drove in 1982, but more kids are preparing for college today. Fewer kids smoke cigarettes or marajuana today, but many more of them use contraception during their first sexual encounter.

But SAT scores are roughly unchanged, as is the graduation rate. Diversity, of course, is probably the biggest shift between then and now. What strikes you most about the infographic above?
