Less Vacations for Americans: American
workers are getting squeezed in an unpleasant place by the recession: in the holiday, reports NBCNews.com.
U.S. employees are taking two fewer vacation days than in 2011. Plus, they have on average two less days
to take — 12 as opposed to 14.
Workers are both afraid of being canned while they're away and feeling
like they have too much work to do to take a holiday. Bummer.
The poll of 8,687 employed persons over 16
was conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Expedia.
