Love the look of your iPhone? Want a speaker dock that’s unlike anything anyone’s seen before? Need a place to park your beer after a tough day grinding away in your cube? All problems solved. Now you can decorate your home in the iconic iPhone style, play your music with room-filling sound, and keep your drink cozy, with a custom-crafted iTable.
Entirely handmade to your size specs to fit your room (the one pictured is 49″ x 22″ and 18″ high), these iPhone-inspired coffee tables aren’t just built to look good, they’re functional as well. And like their inspiration, they’re “touch” sensitive, too. Well, more like “swipe” sensitive. Swipe your hand across the controls, and a sound bar rises from the back and crisp audio blares from the 8 high-end transducer speakers and the 6″ down-firing subwoofer. Swipe again and the music stops. You can also swipe to make the sound bar glide down into the table when not in use.
This cutting-edge coffee table has 96 stainless steel hex-head bolts that hold the stacked, wrap around “antennae” rails, and also features built-in lighted, aluminum cup holders where the camera would be. The front of the iTable houses the three controls: LED lighting, Volume and Motorization. Each button is laser engraved and hand-cut to fit on the control pad. The table’s top is a sleek, flat black surface that is virtually scratch-proof, so feel free to put out the snack spread while the party rages on.
The iTable is designed to look like the iPhone 4, but since it’s all custom-made, it can be designed upon request to fit any smartphone or tablet device. Not sure if they are planning a futon with a Macbook Air mattress.
