Speaking in Normal Syntax, Yoda Is (Video)

What has happened to the Yoda we’ve come to love?

MechaStewart has an entertaining video “Speaking Correctly Order of Words Yoda Is” on Vimeo, composed of edited “Star Wars” footage recasting Yoda speak to conventional sentence structure.

Edited I did. Word order I did change.

People were intrigued enough to click on the video (below), but Yoda’s relative syntax normality has disappointed many nerves, who comment on Vimeo:

You’ve totally ruined Yoda for me. I used to think he was profound. =(
I just died a little inside. But thank you for showing me why having Yoda talk the way he does makes him even more awesome.
