Flights on Ryanair are about to get a lot more awkward.
Michael O’Leary, the airline’s boss, said he’s aiming to launch in-flight entertainment options like hotel rooms’ pay-TV service, The Sun reported.
With such a proposed plan, passengers could log into a Ryanair app on tablets and smartphones to gamble, play games and watch movies — yes, this includes porn — on their flights. Awkwaaaaard.
“I’m not talking about having it on screens on the back of seats for everyone to see. It would be on handheld devices,” O’Leary told The Sun. “Hotels around the world have it, so why wouldn’t we?”
The plan would take at least a year because the airline needs to secure a powerful enough broadband connection in its planes. Good to know it’s not common decency but instead logistics standing in your way of in-flight adult entertainment.
