When you’re ordering a pizza with everything on top, you’re thinking pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, maybe even anchovies — probably not the venom of spiders, scorpions and snakes. But that’s what one Swiss chef was serving until health officials told him to stop.
Hmm, wonder why.
Ismail Ertekin, who had also sold pies topped with edible 24 carat gold, said he uses poisons from homeopathic remedies, noting, “Preservatives in foods are much more damaging than my poison pizzas,” the Croatian Times reported.
Clearly this didn’t sit well with health officers.
