Which do you like better, Christmas or wedding season? Bingo! The answer would be wedding season.

But if you’re a novice crasher, how can you get past the reception doors and over to the champagne fountain? With the new evil-genius app Crash Corsage on your smartphone, you’ll have everything you need to crash any wedding, anywhere, anytime. [Video demo below.]

And it’s all made possible by the magic of the Internet, where the bride-and-groom-to-be eagerly supply all their “big day” info to any number of wedding sites designed to make it easy for friends and family (you know, the guests who are actually invited), to know the date, who’s coming, and what gifts to bring. Crash Corsage collects data from the open directories of these sites and creates filtered lists, tailored to you, of nearby festivities.

Insider Crash Info Right at Your Fingertips

It then conveniently arranges important information such as the dress code, how the couple met, location of their party, and everything else you might need to grab a free meal, dance with the groom’s sister, or, like a certain cinematic crasher reminds us, score a bridesmaid from the room full of gorgeous ladies that are so aroused by the thought of marriage that they’ll throw their inhibitions to the wind…

And for the relentlessly competitive, built-in challenges encourage fellow crashers to compete against one another, while user-accessible photo galleries and checklists let you post your accomplishments and show off your crashing chops.

According to Crash Corsage creator, Eric Schlakman, lover of free food, drinks and uninhibited limbo contests, the app was spawned because, he says, “At the end of the day, we just want people to have fun… on somebody else’s dime.”

Crash Corsage will be released soon, in time for wedding season, and you can get advanced notice for early access by signing up for their newsletter or checking out their Facebook page. After all, who can resist a night of champagne toasts, a plate of overcooked Chicken Kiev and a hunk of overpriced wedding cake… All paid for by the father of the bride?
