There are few things sadder than warm beer. But no need to worry because Kirin has developed the most innovative beer technology since the blue mountains of Coors cans: frozen foam.
Ichiban Shibori Frozen Draft includes a top layer of foam dispensed from a frozen yogurt-like machine, which creates the froth by blowing air into beer and flash freezing it to 23 degrees Fahrenheit, DVICE reports. With this layer of insulation, you can expect beer to stay colder for longer.
Kirin will start testing the frozen foam in Japan in May.
