Wine lovers. Pull up a chair and pull out the cork. There’s a great illustration over at the Daily Infographic that you’ll love to pour over. It breaks down the four basic types: white, sparkling, rose and red into their each respective subsections, that is, High Tannin (dry in the mouth), Round (less tannin and a more balanced acidity resulting in a lush or smooth sensation) or Spicy (high acidity and alcohol, tart).
I’m no wine expert, so it was interesting to see where my favorite wines (Petite Sirah, Malbec, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) are located in relation to each other.
