Inspired by video games, Ukraine designer German Ljutaev came up with a clever idea that prints a game life meter, a visual reminder of life slowly depleting, on cigarette papers. The ciggies include five hearts that disappear as they’re smoked.
In this game, there aren’t any winners. Near the end of the cigarette, the smoker is prompted with “Continue? Y/N.” Is that enough to get people to reconsider their bad habits?
