Hoping to resemble his idol, Justin Bieber, a 33-year-old songwriter from Los Angeles, has spent $100,000 on various plastic surgeries to achieve the Canadian pop star’s boyish look.
“Once Justin shot to fame his face was everywhere and I all I kept thinking when I saw his picture was, “‘I want to look like him,’” Toby Sheldon told The Daily Mail. “By using Justin’s charming baby face as my inspiration, I’ve been able to restructure my entire look to maintain a much more youthful appearance through plastic surgery.”
Most recently, Sheldon dropped $15,000 on smile surgery, which was done in three stages and took over a month to recover from. The surgery, which has become popular in South Korea, has its share of critics.
Three hair transplants — and $21,000 — recreated Bieber’s hairstyle. He’s also had his face and lips plumps, chin reduction, and eyelid surgery.
And, he says he’s not quite finished: “I know there is more work to be done in order to make a full transformation into Justin Bieber’s doppelganger like a nose job and jaw reduction, which my surgeon has suggested.”
Although his friends have taken to calling him Toby Bieber, it’s not all about becoming his idol. Sheldon has admitted to a fear of aging as well.
“Between our similar hairstyles, baby faced smile and overall youthful appearance I finally look like Justin Bieber and I couldn’t be happier about it,” Sheldon said.
