$150 Gets You Your Very Own Star Wars TIE Fighter (Twin Ion Engines Not Included)

//

Always dreamed of helping The Empire strike back at that pesky Rebel Alliance? All you need is $150 (or best offer), and you can be the pilot of your very own TIE Fighter.

Billed as “The Coolest Toy in the Neighborhood” on the Craigslist listing, this “approximately 1/3 scale” Star Wars Fighter is “well built” of 3/4 inch plywood with wings sheeted in cardboard—exactly what you’ll need to stand up to Rebel X-Wing starfighters.

And should those Rebels break through your defenses, this wooden Fighter comes complete with laser cannons that fire party poppers. The loud bang and confetti shower should teach them not to mess with The Empire.

From the listing:

Have the coolest toy in your neighborhood! Approximately 1/3 scale TIE Fighter. 8x8x8 feet but breaks down into 5 pieces for easy transport in a pickup or can haul partially assembled (except for the top half of the wings) on a trailer. Wheeled casters make it easy to move once assembled. Laser cannons are set to fire standard party poppers. Well built out of 3/4 plywood with the wings sheeted in cardboard. Tested to hold over 300 pounds. Cockpit is 38 inches by 38 inches and my 5ft tall son comfortably sits inside. $150 or best offer

Interested? The TIE Fighter is located in the Seattle area, but does break down into 5 pieces for easy transport in your Millennium Falcon or pick up truck.
