Pricey Pizza: How much would YOU spend on a gourmet pizza? $10? $25? How about $450? Well, if you happen to be in Vancouver, there’s one company that thinks you might cough up enough dough for the latter. Yes, $450 for a pizza.
Needless to say that this pizza isn’t your run-of-the-mill Pepperoni Deluxe or Hawaiian Surprise; the “C6″ is “topped with a thermidor of lobster and black Alaska cod and a side of Russian osetra caviar,” says the The Sideshow blog. If this is a little out of your price range, there’s a $120 version. Nader Hatami, owner of the Steveston Pizza Company, said he has sold one C6 and seven $120 versions. “I never thought I’d sell so many,” he is quoted as saying. via The Sideshow
