Forest Boy A Liar: Hoping for a new real-life Tarzan or Jungle Book character who would walk out of a German forest after five years and tell us all how complicated and amazing it was to be back in civilization? Too bad. Forest boy “Ray,” is a 20 year-old Dutch liar. After police posted his photo last week, a former girlfriend and others identified him as Robin van Helsum from Hengelo, Netherlands. Van Helsum had left a farewell note and traveled to Berlin in September 2011, but hadn’t been heard from since. He showed up in Berlin claiming he had lost both parents and had been living in the forest for five years. Forest boy isn’t out of the woods yet, as he may now face charges of fraud. via AP
