Today's Google Doodle — in case you haven't seen it — is in tribute to Robert Moog. Moog, a electronic music pioneer, invented a sythesizer named after himself. The synthesizer went on to influence music and today would have been his 78th birthday. Moog died in 2005. The doodle is a digital reproduction of a mini-Moog. Very cool! Go play with it! Be advised: it works best in Google's Chrome browser and not at all in most Internet Explorer versions. There's a How-To on Moog Music's website.
