Let It Snow!: Those eager to kick off the ski season may want to head to the Pacific Northwest, where, at Mt. Rainier, forecasters are predicting a huge dump of snow.
A National Weather Service forecast for Mt. Rainier, Washington is forecasting 80 to 108 inches of new snow will fall from now until Wednesday — that's six to eight FEET of the white stuff.
A good portion of the snowfall is expected to fall by this evening when forecasters expect 36-42 inches to have covered the ground.
And in case that isn't enough, more snow is predicted to fall after Wednesday and through the weekend.
