Isaac Dealt Deathknell to Cattle:
An estimated 400 head of cattle drowned in floodwaters from Isaac, reported the Washington Post. The consequences of the hurricane, a category 1, showed that despite modifications since Katrina, much of the lowland in Louisiana is still vulnerable to storm surges.
