As you may be aware, this blog is part of a larger entity called Discovery News. I've been a science writer for Discovery News since 1998. Over the years it's been redesigned many times. Today, however, we are launching the most significant redesign ever. It's not just what the site it looks like, it's what it does. The new Discovery News is dynamically fed news and blogs, along with other relevant content from all over the web. You can also comment on a lot more stuff and link up with the producers, writers and bloggers a lot more easily. I'll not get into all the details, because you can see it all for yourself much more easily.
As for the Earth Pub, it's got the same new bells and whistles. Best of all, though, is that you can finally aggregate your favorite blogger's posts and see what they have been up to.
Hope you enjoy the improved sites. Please feel free to comment on anything you see, good or bad. We're listening because, in the end, it's all for you.
