If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to drive an electric motorcycle, you’ve got a great opportunity on May 19th, because Zero Motorcycles is having their National Demo Day at dealers across the country.
Zero dealers will be offering free demonstration rides to all qualified and licensed motorcycle riders, and for those who don’t have their license, a great introduction to the entire line of bikes (which ought to be great motivation to go out and get that license!). Many of the dealerships will also have factory representatives from Zero on hand to answer your questions and get feedback on their products.
If you’ve not heard of Zero yet, here’s a tasty intro to their bikes:
These are some exciting electric motorcycles, with approximately 100 mile range per charge, top speeds well above the speed limit, and battery packs that last for 300,000 miles. On top of that, these bikes are stylish, silent, cost less than a dollar to charge, and get the equivalent of 480 MPGe. Prices vary by the model, but start at about $8000.
