Fans of the Nissan Juke-R concept that was unveiled last year will like today’s news! Nissan has decided to put the Nissan Juke-R into production. In case you forgot, the Juke-R concept is the perfect model for Nissan Juke and GT-R fans as it combines the two. The Juke-R concept takes the Juke crossover’s body, but then under the hood it’s powered by the twin-turbocharged 3.8L V6 from the GT-R.

The Juke-R concept was originally powered by the GT-R’s 485-hp V6, but the production version will get the newly updated 3.8L V6 that packs 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft. of torque. Nissan will only produce the Juke-R in a very limited production on a build-to-order basis. Even with a price tag estimated around $200,000, Nissan has already received three orders for the Juke-R, two of which come from a “high-profile and well-respected member of Dubai society.

Gareth Dunsmore, Marketing Product Manager for the Juke stated, “The Juke-R was originally intended as a one-off concept to marry two of Nissan’s most innovative models. But the reaction we had to the car in Dubai was amazing – people were making offers for the original on the street!”
