For those who love the look and feel of café racers, but who also want something with a bit more of a modern flavor, there’s a new motorcycle brand in town: Ipothesys.

The new bike began as an idea of Italian entrepreneur Alessandro Loviselli, came to life through the hands of Filippo Barbacane, of Officine Rossopuro, and is now a motorcycle brand of its own. The starting point for the Ipothesys is the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8v, seen below, but after its transformation becomes a different animal entirely.

Once the metamorphosis is complete, the Ipothesys is a lean mean stylish machine, capable of inducing whiplash in bystanders as they try to get a better look at it as it motors past.

“The front and rear of the frame have been heavily modified to accommodate the custom tank and bodywork. The suspension is all-new. Up front are massive Marzocchi SBK-spec RAC 50mm forks and
Ergal triple trees, and there’s a premium-spec Bitubo XXF-11 monoshock at the back. The brake system has been completely revamped as well, with Brembo components throughout—including new ‘Groove’ rotors.” – BikeEXIF
