Mazda has unveiled its latest concept, the Mazda Takeri concept that is going to have its world debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show in December. The Takari concept is a preview of what we may see as Mazda’s next midsize sedan.
The Mazda Takeri concept is based on Mazda’s new design language, Kodo, which means “Soul of Motion.” Mazda’s new design language debuted on the Shiniari concept at the Paris Motor Show in 2010. According to Mazda, the Mazda Takeri “is designed to express an intuitive sedan identity and an overwhelming emotional beauty.”
In addition to featuring Mazda’s new design language, the Takeri concept also uses Mazda’s new SkyActiv technology, which includes a SkyActiv diesel engine with an i-stop idling stop system and Mazda’s first regenerative braking system.
The Mazda Takeri concept will debut alongside the new CX-5 crossover on December 3rd.
