Mini has unveiled its new London 2012 special edition Mini Cooper that is meant to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Games. The special edition series is available on the Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S and Cooper SD trims. The special edition can come in Chili Red, White Silver or Lightening Blue. It also gets white mirror caps and a white roof that features the London 2012 Olympic graphic. A single Union Jack sport stripe runs the length of the car.
To help promote the new London 2012 Edition models, Mini went to long jump champion J.J. Jegede and asked him to jump over three of them in a publicity stunt.
Mini is only going to produce 2,012 units with pricing that starts at £17,800.
