As predicted, Land Rover is currently thinking about introducing a convertible version of its popular new Range Rover Evoque. To see if the public actually wants it, Land Rover is bringing the Range Rover Evoque Convertible concept to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, next month.

The Evoque Convertible concept is based on the three-door Evoque, but gets a power retractable soft-top and 21-inch Titan silver alloy wheels. According to Land Rover the changes to create the Evoque Convertible do not have a large impact on the model’s weight and torsional rigidity. The interior of the Evoque Convertible concept is packed with technology like a terrain response system, surround cameras and a Meridian audio system with an eight-inch touch screen.

If the Evoque Convertible concept does receive positive feedback and it’s given the green light, it could arrive as early as 2014.
