An airbag system kicked in to possibly save the life of a driver crashed his Audi A4- and the car won’t let him forget it. That’s because the four ring logo embedded into the steering fired directly into the man’s arm, thoroughly branding him when the airbag inflated.
The safety concerns around airbags are well-known, but they usually concern children and people who don’t wear their seat belts. Considering the speed at which the bag inflates- it pops out at up to 200mph- it’s no wonder that saving lives comes with a few injuries.
Apparently this driver, who sent in a photo of his branded arm to Jalopnik, isn’t ashamed of having needed some help. He must love his car.
