Chrysler has just announced that it will be making an appearance at the Pebble beach Concours d’Elegance in Monterey, California. The event in Monterey is famous for all of the classic collectors cars that roll onto the beach. It’s also the perfect place for Chrysler’s SRT brand to debut the limited-edition 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition, which is based on the all-new Viper supercar.

The 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition evokes memories of past Viper Coupe debuts in 1996 and 2006 with the classic GTS blue paint and duel Bright White stripes that run the length of the exterior. The limited-edition Viper also rides on unique five-spoke polished forged-aluminum wheels and Stryker badges have been placed on the hood and steering wheel. The Stryker logo was recently named by owners that attended the 2010 Viper Owners Invitational event in Salt Lake City. It’s the first new emblem for the Viper since 2003 and the third incarnation of a Viper logo.

The interior of the 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition gets a serialized plaque that proves that it’s a limited-edition mode and black Laguna leather. Under the hood the SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition is powered by the same 640 horsepower 8.4L V10 engine as the other Viper models.

Chrysler hasn’t stated how many will be produced and what it will cost, but if you happen to be in Monterey this weekend, be sure to check it out.
