Ah, there is nothing more exciting then when two things you love team up, like here: LEGOs and Volkswagens. I say this because I have owned a few of each.
This 1962 VW Camper Van is made entirely out of LEGOs. It includes features such as the ‘V’ shape three-way color split at the front, rounded roof and window frames, opening ‘splittie’ safari front window, opening doors, and of course, the instantly recognizable pop-up roof. It even embraces its counterculture roots with an interior lava lamp and a T-shirt in the window that says ‘Make LEGO models, not war’.

”There is lots of technical building within the model that I think LEGO fans will enjoy. I’m also hoping that it will appeal to a wider audience, not just LEGO fans. I think the Volkswagen community out there will really appreciate this model,” says LEGO designer John-Henry Harris.
”Its unique character and charm have made it loved all over the world, which has also meant that it has become one of the most customizable vehicles ever produced,” he added.
Other interior features include a authentic VW air-cooled flat four cylinder boxer engine, front cabin bench seat, gear stick, angled dashboard and iconic spherical speedometer, to custom LEGO® features like folding rear bench seat, folding dinette table, closet with mirror and even a painting!
Okay, I admit it, I sorta want one. Am I too old for it?
