World's Biggest Aquarium Opens: Singapore
is home to the biggest aquarium on Earth, reports ANI.
The aquarium, housed within the Marine Life Park at
Singapore's Resorts World Sentosa, contains more than 100,000 marine animals and more than 800 species.
Among them are controversial Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins, which conservationists had tried to get
blocked from being captured for the aquarium.
The aquarium has world's largest viewing area, which is 108
feet long (36 meters) and 25 feet high (8.3 meters).
Visitors can already snorkel with reef fish; swiming
with sharks and dolphins will begin in 2013.
