Ozzy is a nearly four-year-old border collie-kelpie mix and here his owner Nick is training him to stand on a slackline.
Slacklining is similar to tightrope walking, but the rope is, well, not tight. With a less-than-taut rope, the line droops and allows for some bounce and give. The bounce lends itself to tricks and jumps and can be operated similar to a trampoline.
I've even seen slacklining in parks and places where the rope can be strung between trees here in Washington, D.C.!
Ozzy is still being trained, but it's pretty amazing that he can get almost to a "standing" position before having to regain his balance. Go Ozzy! via Discovery Blogs
