Dolphins Stun Fish, Boy Gets Dinner: Talk about inter-species cooperation: A pod of dolphins served up dinner to a surprised boy on a surfboard, reports PeteThomasOutdoors.com.
From a pier at Manhattan Beach, Calif., Cody Martin and his father, Eric, were watching the dolphins play with the 40-pound yellowtail. The dolphins didn't eat the fish, but left it floating half-dead.
Cody thought he'd investigate, so he paddled his surfboard out to the fish and found it was perfectly edible.
"Then I thought, 'Dinner!'" Cody said. He lugged the fish up onto his board and paddled back to his dad, who later grilled the yellowtail in a teriyaki-pineapple sauce. via PeteThomasOutdoors.com/Underwater Times
