The property once belonged to Colombian druglord Pablo Escobar, named the seventh richest man in the world by Forbes magazine in 1989. Escobar died in a shootout, or possible execution, in 1993 when he was only 44 years old.

After Escobar's death, a battle ensued over who would control his luxurious estate, which featured a large zoo full of exotic, wild animals and even a reconstructed mammoth that kids climbed on like a prehistoric jungle gym. Colombia's government won the fight, so the former Escobar estate is now under the care of the Municipality of Puerto Triunfo.
As you can see by the below, they now have one additional very large mouth to feed.
